Short Essay Choices

           If you would like more time to work on your answers for the short answer section, we are providing your options for this year’s scholarship here:

  How has art influenced your life in regard to your cancer diagnosis?
  What advice would you give to a newly diagnosed artist?
  How do you plan to make a difference in the world with your art?
  What are your goals for the next ten years? How do you plan to achieve your goals?

The essay should be between 1-3 pages and should include proper spelling and grammar. It should be written in paragraph style and while it does not need to be a formal essay, please keep in mind that the short essay is 30% of your total score. So, please think about your answer and make sure it properly reflects you as an artist, a survivor and as a person.

**Remember if you have a writing sample that you think is excellent, you can include it as a PDF with your portfolio submission.
